"The Wall Street Journal" teams up with B.E.

In a new alliance that will benefit attendees of the Fourth Annual Black Enterprise/Bank of America Entrepreneurs Conference, The Wall Street Journal has teamed up with BLACK ENTERPRISE magazine to expand the expertise for developing the program.

Peter Kann, chairman and CEO of Dow Jones & Co. and publisher of The Wall Street Journal, says "The Entrepreneurs Conference provides the Journal, the nation's business daily, with an opportunity to team up with the preeminent business publication for African American entrepreneurs and professionals." Over the years, the Entrepreneurs Conference has attracted thousands of black executives and business owners, including the nation's largest black-owned businesses, the BE 100s companies.

"We view our association with the [event] as supporting our efforts to cover this market segment as news and to reach those who work in it as readers," adds Kann.

Earl G. Graves, chairman and publisher of BE, says, "This alliance will enhance our ability to provide information of the highest quality to empower African American entrepreneurs to take their businesses to the next level."

To register for the Entrepreneurs Conference, May 5-9 at Disney's Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, call 800-543-6786.
