Thomas-Graham takes president and COO posts at CNBC

Don't underestimate the dotcom executive. Pamela Thomas-Graham, former president and CEO of CNBC.com, has landed the No. 2 spot at CNBC proper. In February, the Harvard Law School graduate was named president and chief operating officer, reporting to CNBC Chairman and CEO Bill Bolster. As the world's largest TV business news network, CNBC provides financial-market coverage and business information to more than 166 million homes worldwide.

"I have chosen Pamela for this new COO role because of her management skills and leadership capability, and I am confident that adding her to our CNBC executive team will help CNBC build on its success in the years ahead," said Bob Wright, president and CEO of NBC, CNBC's parent company.

To ensure brand synergy across CNBC's TV and Internet platforms, Thomas-Graham, 38, will continue to oversee CNBC.com while leading the day-to-day operations of CNBC.
