The USB device comes with an 8MB CompactFlash card (good for photos and two to three MP3 songs) and the e-maxManager software, which allows you to upload your photos and create 3-D images, short animations, and panoramas. You'll still need advanced image-editing software to fix the so-so images. But for quick, no-fuss photos, it's worth a shot.
