4 Barbara L. Thomas has been appointed president and CEO of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). She plans to raise the organization's visibility, increase its membership, and strengthen the organization's relationships with its members and corporate partners. NBMBAA has more than 6,000 members and represents some 100,000 black M.B.A.s nationwide.
Its mission is to create economic and intellectual wealth for blacks.
