Ahead of the curve - iPod MP3 by Apple - Evaluation
Black Enterprise, March, 2002
Apple has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to innovative design. With the new iPod MP3 player, the company sets another benchmark. The 6.5-ounce MP3 player features a 5GB hard disk, which lets you store up to 1,000 songs or 100 CDs of music. This means you can spend an entire weekend listening to the iPod without hearing the same song twice.
Additionally, the iPod comes with 32MB of memory cache, 20-minute skip protection, and features an intuitive scroll wheel that lets you zip through menus and songs. The iPod ships with iTunes 2 for easy music management ($399; www.apple.com).
