An awesome tool - Letters - Letter to the Editor
Black Enterprise, April, 2004 by Kimmela O. Boyd
IN SUPPORT OF A MAGAZINE fundraiser for my daughter's school, I subscribed to BLACK ENTERPRISE magazine. I had never actually read every article in any magazine until I picked up BE.
The information in Moneywise has been very helpful for me in regards to understanding stocks and the Enterprise articles are motivating. The Black Wealth Initiative articles are truly helpful to me as I am learning from others' mistakes and using the information to better my financial situation. I enjoyed reading the article "Lloyd Ward: Victim or Villain?" by Matthew S. Scott [January 2004]. Mr. Ward endured plenty as CEO of the USOC.
I am also extremely thankful for the many Web links BE offers. For example, I went to the links regarding 529 [college savings] plans and was able to read more about the benefits of such plans and make a wise decision. Overall. BE is wonderful, informative, motivating, and truly an awesome tool. Keep up the great job!
