Home Office Computing, Feb, 2000 by Robert S. Anthony

In the Power Mac's favor is the ease with which you can network and expand the unit. The case opens without tools, and the interior allows easy access to memory and other upgradable components. And two USB ports, two or three FireWire ports, and an Ethernet adapter are standard equipment.

Is a Power Mac G4 right for your home office? If you've accumulated mountains of Windows software, the answer is probably no, but if you're starting anew or if your job features as much desktop or Web publishing as word processing and spreadsheet work, a Power Macintosh is well worth a look.
