Neither the component utilities nor the product manual are as accessible as the competition's, though they are by no means bad.

A full-featured hard-disk backup utility is the strong suit of this package. Its clear displays and flexible procedures are further enhanced by the option to compress the data as it is backed up. The publisher claims this will reduce the number of backup disks between 10 percent and 60 percent, depending on the type of files being compressed (application files shrink only slightly, for instance, and spreadsheet files dramatically). There is also a handy file-search desk accessory that lets you peek into the files you've found without having to open them.
