Thanks for helping to expose the hurtful myth of ADHD

Thank you so much for your article featuring Dr. Fred A. Baughman Jr. and his stance on attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as a 100 percent fraud [Picture Profile, Feb. 18].

As a schoolteacher I see firsthand the damage that psychotropic drugs are doing to our young people, and all for naught -- I have not seen one single case of a child who has benefited from psychotropic medications such as Ritalin.

I have witnessed several instances where severe harm was perpetrated on a child by the use of such drugs, however. INSIGHT simply must continue to open the eyes of people out there, and I salute you for your courage in doing so.
