Liberal media's wrongs continue to be overlooked

The same people who were telling us that all we had to do to solve the world's problems was sit around in a circle, hold hands and sing "Kumbaya" still are getting airtime and still spewing nonsensical answers to real-life problems.

It is so disappointing. Their worldview was proved wrong on Sept. 11. So why am I still seeing Katie Couric, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw and any number of other people who used to purse their lips and shake their heads at the thought that our government should protect America and Americans?

I know, I know. We're supposed to forget that they got it wrong and that they're "evolving toward a right answer." Well, the "pretty-but-stupid" excuse has started costing lives.

Shouldn't the reward for being wrong for so many years be a swift boot out the nearest door? Where are the faces of the people who got it right? Where are the articles written before Sept. 11 suggesting that such an attack could happen? Why aren't these people being rewarded for thinking correctly?

In light of the "new left," conservatives should not forget that the "old left" is still out there.
