Trendy Irish pubs invade Manhattan and beyond

As one young Irish-American patron puts it, the new Irish pub, with its imported antiques and "stuff decorating these bars," can seem a wee twee and disingenuous.

This St. Paddy's Day, however, will see artists, attorneys and computer technicians crowding into Fiddlesticks and similar pubs. And some of them may have more than the odd pint, cheers and thank you.
