Adamo Ruggiero, 21, the Canadian actor who plays gay teenager Marco Del Rossi on the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation, in an interview with Canadian entertainment news show eTalk, January 16. An Ontario native, Ruggiero told the CTV show that he came out in part to be a positive role model for his show's young viewers.
