Secret revealed

Advocate, The,  August 30, 2005  by Eric Britten

Your July/August edition, arrived just as my significant other and I were planning one of our favorite annual getaways'--three days paddling in Prince William Sound. Imagine our surprise when we saw our secret unveiled as one of your 10 Gay Adventures of a Lifetime in that issue. Your pointers were right on target.

Prince William Sound is one of the nations greatest wonders. Sea life abounds as you paddle through the secluded coves, fjords, and bays that riddle the sound. As you point out, just an hour or two from Anchorage, Whittier is a great jumping-off point. Local kayak rentals are available there, and sea taxis can whisk you right out of nowhere to the middle of nowhere. So much for secrecy. But, heck, there's room for everyone. Come visit!
