Deep in the art of Texas
Advocate, The, August 30, 2005
Before art aficionados could stop swooning over Dallas's dazzling new Nasher Sculpture Center, George Michael's longtime boyfriend, Dallas native Kenny Goss, opened a 3,200-square-foot gallery featuring the work of megawatt art stars such as David LaChapelle and Richmond Burton. Located in the city's Uptown neighborhood, Goss Gallery (2500 Cedar Springs Rd., 214-696-0555) debuted May 19 after Michael flew in from London.
"Both Kenny and I love contemporary art and we wanted a gallery that would take the Dallas art scene to a whole new level," says Michael. New paintings by Burton, who worked with I.M. Pei on the Pyramid de Louvre, are on display from September 9 through October 10.
