> Continental Airlines has long offered travel and health benefits to the partners of current gay employees. But after openly gay flight attendant David Lee retired in 1989, the company refused to extend travel benefits to Daniel Vaillancourt, whom he married in Canada last year. So the Los Angeles resident threatened a lawsuit, and on May 1, Continental changed its policy to include the registered same-sex partners of retirees.
