Sleeve trick
Science World, March 28, 2005 by Sean Price
Tired of rummaging through your pockets just to answer your cell phone? A ski jacket developed by Motorola could help. It lets you command the phone in your pocket--simply by pressing buttons on a control panel built into the jacket's sleeve.
The control panel uses Bluetooth to communicate with your phone, This wireless technology relies on radio waves (vibrating energy waves) to send signals between different communication devices. With speakers sewn into the jacket's hood, and a microphone attached to the collar, "you don't need to go fishing [to make or take a call]," says Motorola spokesperson Steve Deutscher.
