A new meaning for crunch

A sad story on so many levels, a boycott on Spandex shorts swept the world of fitness. Turned out the moose-knuckle-inspiring man-trunks can and did cause serious problems down below after an athlete suffered a hematoma--a blood-filled swelling--in his testicle while stretching. The report, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, raised many important questions. Except one: Did the man deserve it for subjecting other gymgoers to such foulness?
