Eat meat and rejoice - Nutrition FastTrack; findings of research on high-protein diets - Brief Article

Men's Fitness,  Feb, 2004

It's official: There's now absolutely no reason not to follow a high-protein diet. A new Harvard University study reports that low-carb dieters can eat up to 300 more calories a day than guys on a low-fat diet-and still lose more weight. And despite early concerns, researchers at the Mayo Clinic recently found that low-carb dieters could lose up to 5% of their body weight after six weeks, without any serious side effects.
