The supersweet, syrupy French import is made from four all-natural ingredients: berries, grape juice, lemon juice, and pectin. Although it's a tad higher in calories than it needs to be, at least its free of all chemicals and preservatives found in other "healthy" jellies.

Regular Polaner jelly rarely disappoints. But the sugar free variety is one giant, overprocessed mistake. It's much too tart (we puckered after each bite) with zero real berry taste.

Although sugar-free Smuckers was disappointing, the brand's low sugar option is a worthy replacement. It has half as many calories as the regular variety, plus that same intense, fresh berry taste--slightly tart, just like an actual piece of fruit.
