But after I blew my college scholarship and a possible opportunity to play pro football, I discovered that my own self-importance did not depend on my ability to destroy others through intimidation and brute force. Yes. No. Yes. Tim, we put in a call to Mr. James, but he was out of his office doing something cool, like bird-doggin' chicks and partying with rock stars. And intimidating small animals and old people.
