Work right for a change
Men's Fitness, May, 2005 by Neal Boulton
WORK. IT'S WHAT you've got to do if you want the body we're talking about. The men at this magazine's competition won't tell you that.
Now, some guys don't need the gym: guys like my buddies in Hermosa Beach, Calif., shredded from a youth of running surfboards up and down the shore and riding the big curls. Or my Air Force, Army, and Navy brothers I photographed last year for MF August '04--real men defending you, me, and liberty around the world.
Thing is, when you and I crash the plates in our gyms, we replicate all this--what my Iowa farming dad calls work: the kind of activity men engaged in before gyms sprung up everywhere, when they filled miles of dirt and shouldered the steel beams and brick that built this nation.

That same work in the gym, however, makes us ask far too often: "Is it worth it? Am I doing it right? Will this really get me jacked like I want? Am I wasting my time again?"
Gentlemen, question no more. With this month's Ab story, I promise the formula that "targets" while you sweat--while you work.
When you're done building, take a breather and sharpen your game with the best sex tips in the country. This month, we bring you more expert advice on how to navigate her body.
My sex editor, Dr. Belisa Vranich, grins and warns: "Boys, miss this article at your own risk."
