WHILE IT'S TEMPTING to sit between sets and take a breather, don't. Sitting, particularly on a seat without a backrest (such as a weight bench), can temporarily destabilize the spine, increase stiffness in the lower back, and limit range of motion. Instead of parking your carcass, take a quick walk to the water fountain.
