Glucosamine

Men's Fitness,  June-July, 2005  by Christopher R. Mohr

CLAIM

Good for the joints, especially in active guys.

LATEST FINDING

Recent studies have shown that taking glucosamine can help slow or stop joint deterioration and the progression of esteoarthritis. (The body uses glucosamine in the production and maintenance of cartilage, so it makes sense that supplements would help in that process.) Many researchers believe it may be very beneficial for guys who stress their joints lifting weights.
