* For the Sierra Club member in all of us, recycled materials are used in the room signs, the night tables and the reception desk.

* The hotel is totally smoke-free, including the bar.

* A dual-filter air system provides fresh air to the entire hotel, removing mold, pollen and bacteria. Twice an hour, the air in each guest room is completely recycled.

* The bedding comes from organically grown, unbleached cotton and pure wool and is free of dyes. (Promoters say it adjusts to an individual's body temperature.)
