A procrastinator tells his story

"That was me," jokes Kal Thompson of Twin City, Ga., "before I donated my body to science." The experiment: What happens when a college baseball player gets mono, quits the gym, and never goes back? Thompson, now 25, says seeing his "before" and "after" photos has been therapeutic. "This might be the kick in the ass I need to start lifting again--something other than half a dozen burgers."
