5 steps denser ab workouts

[1] Pick two exercises to train your abs--one where you move your torso toward your hips (say, the Swiss-ball crunch), and one where your hips move closer to your torso (as in the reverse crunch).

[2] Get ready to time yourself for 10 minutes.

[3] Start timing, then alternate between sets of those two exercises, doing however many reps you want per set, and resting as long as you need in between.

[4] Track how many reps you performed in the 10-minute period.

[5] Try to beat that record in your next workout. When you're able to beat your number of reps by 20%, add weight to the exercises.
