Build more muscle: find out how CELL-Tech can help you build a stronger and more muscular body! - dietary supplement - Product Announcement
Men's Fitness, July, 2002
It's been some time since creatine entered the supplement market and took the fitness world by storm. Soon after researchers found that creatine helped athletes increase muscularity and strength, thousands of individuals began taking it with juice. This was based on the advice of so-called experts who suggested it was the best way to take creatine. But were athletes getting the best results? No.
Nothing ever stands still, especially not the supplement industry. Trends come and go, and though creatine is still around today, it has transformed into something incredibly more potent and effective to help you build a strong and muscular body. That transformation is CELL-Tech.

Creatine Basics
Creatine monohydrate can best be described as an energy-donating supplement. Creatine gives your muscles the fuel to contract for longer periods of time. This translates into heavier weights lifted in the gym for more repetitions than would normally be possible. Of course, we all know that if you can lift more weight than you did when you last hit the gym, your muscles will adapt by growing bigger and stronger. In a nutshell, that's one way creatine helps you become more muscular.
Another mechanism through which creatine causes muscular growth is cell volumization. When creatine ends up in your muscle fibers it pulls water and other nutrients in along with it. In other words, creatine supplementation can enlarge the muscle, stimulating protein synthesis. Result? More muscle growth. Still, as powerful as creatine is on its own, you'll notice the common theme here is that creatine has to get into the muscles. If your creatine supplement doesn't get into your muscles, then you aren't going to reap any benefits.
CELL-Tech--Forcing More Creatine Into Your Muscles
The real key to forcing creatine into the muscles is the hormone insulin. Insulin is without a doubt the most powerful creatine-storing compound around. The question is: How do you get your body to produce a lot of insulin? There is a surefire way that researchers agree upon, and that's to use dextrose.
Demonstrating a commitment to putting the results of scientific research into action, MuscleTech, the maker of CELL-Tech, sought to include precisely 75 grams of dextrose in each serving of CELL-Tech, and for good reason. Unlike many of the comparatively poor results attained by athletes who've had to endure low-dextrose and dextrose-free creatine in the past, much more impressive results have been shown when creatine is combined with a large amount of dextrose--like the 75 grams found in CELL-Tech! Research proves that the use of dextrose is a surefire way to drive extra creatine into the muscle. Recently however, hot, new research has come to light that proves once and for all what MuscleTech researchers have been saying all along: alpha lipoic acid also improves creatine retention in the muscles!
Alpha Lipoic Acid--Better Creatine Retention
In a significant clinical study, Dr. Darren Burke and Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky--two leading creatine authorities--proved that alpha lipoic acid can help the muscles retain more creatine. In this study, they gave subjects either regular creatine, creatine and dextrose, or creatine along with dextrose and alpha lipoic acid. Incidentally, CELL-Tech, because of its exclusive patent rights, is the only supplement legally allowed to contain the combination of creatine with dextrose an;d alpha lipoic acid. The results showed that the addition of alpha lipoic acid to creatine and dextrose led to higher levels of creatine in the muscle than just creatine and dextrose, or creatine by itself. If you don't take alpha lipoic acid with your creatine, you're not getting the most from it. CELL-Tech contains a generous amount of alpha lipoic acid so that your muscles wind up loaded with creatine, and this can help you achieve impressive strength and muscle gains. If your creatine product doesn't contain alpha lipoic acid, you don't know what your muscles have been missing!
Amazing Results With CELL-Tech
As good as any supplement may be hyped up to be, there's only one way to determine whether or not the hype holds water, and that's with scientific research. In this case, a clinical study was conducted that proves CELL-Tech is better than regular creatine mixed with water. In fact, the study went as far as to see if CELL-Tech is any better than the time-honored tradition of taking your creatine with a glass of juice. Well, if you're not using CELL-Tech in favor of mixing creatine with water or juice, then you'll be kicking yourself when you read the results.
CELL-Tech is up to 19 times better than creatine mixed with water. Yes, you read that right--up to 19 times better! In a clinical study, those subjects using CELL-Tech managed to gain up to 19 times more mass in only 4 weeks than those subjects taking creatine mixed with water! There's no denying the fact that if you're using regular creatine right now, your muscles aren't getting all that you pay for!
