Some guys brag about workouts so tough they had to be carried out of the gym. Well, I remember this powerlifter who was blasting out reps of 500 pounds on the bench press. As he went to rack the bar at the end of his set, the left side didn't catch. His arms gave out and the bar swung down like an ax into his collarbone. His upper chest swelled up like there was a tennis ball under his skin. He left the gym on a stretcher that day.
