Ever think snacking on raisins could be good for your teeth? Turns out it is. A new study from the University of Illinois at Chicago reports that a compound found in raisins, oleanolic acid, can help prevent cavities and gum disease by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and preventing plaque. Just don't expect that box of Raisinets to impress your dentist.
