Count them in: you took the MF/Shape survey and told us how you feel about workplace sex. Our hearts go out to your biz's cleaning staff

Men's Fitness, Sept, 2004 by Rob Medich

When it comes to workplace romance, a lot of our readers said they were gettin' down to business. A whopping 80% of respondents to our Men's Fitness/Shape online survey said it's OK to date a coworker--especially, say 81%, if their romantic interest is of equal professional stature.

Our respondents did seem, however, to have a problem with authority--as in, when either of the lovers was a supervisor to the other. Only 38% said it's OK to romance a boss or a subordinate.

Of the 60% who have had relations with workmates, only 12% felt their extracurricular activity caused a problem at work. Better yet, look at 22% of the respondents who, when asked about the outcome of their office relationship, said it's still continuing. Now that's what we call serious company benefits.
