YOUR OWN SEX GAME

Don't want to bother with board games? If you're looking to pep up a relationship, you'll find that the following--perhaps accompanied by a bottle of wine and a few candles--beat an evening of Scrabble any time.

YOU'RE THE BOSS

Basically, you do whatever she says ... just as in life. (That's a joke, pal.) Then, if you last that long, you switch sides and she does whatever you say. The bossee can take a pass on anything hear she finds uncomfortable.

JUST MET

An age-old tactic for longtime lovers: Pretend to "meet" her in a bar or restaurant, then attempt to seduce this attractive stranger. Or she's a hitchhiker, and you pick her up in your Toyota of Love.

FAST FANTASY

You each describe a personal fantasy (preferably one that won't make the other person run away in horror). Then each of you gets 10 minutes to make the other's fantasy come true, either by acting it out or describing it in great detail. Whoever is most successful in getting the other's fantasy right "wins."

JUST WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED

You describe three things that you've always longed to do with her in the sack; she chooses one to make come true. Then you reverse the roles. (Although you might want to keep the one that has her wearing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer outfit to yourself.)

Southern California writer J.L. Sullivan enjoys strip Chutes and Ladders.
