Resting in the middle of your workout may help you burn more fat, according to a recent Japanese study. Researchers had a group of seven healthy guys either ride a stationary bike for 60 minutes straight or perform two 30-minute sessions with a 20-minute break in between. To their surprise, they round that the guys metabolized more fat when they relaxed a bit mid-workout.
