FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin,The, March, 2004

The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) presents Homicide Trends in the United States, a section of its Web site that contains over 50 charts that describe homicide patterns and trends in the United States since 1976. Homicide is of interest not only because of its severity but also because it is a fairly reliable barometer of all violent crime.

This site can be accessed at http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/homicide/homtrnd.htm.> Bulletin Reports is an edited collection of criminal justice studies, reports, and project findings.
