This book offers an overview of sexual function in people with disabilities--with an emphasis on practical approaches to overcoming sexual problems. Part 1 provides an overview of specific issues related to the evaluation of sexuality and sexual function. In Part 2, specific disabilities and illnesses are addressed in individual chapters, providing an overview of each particular disability and illness and what is known about male and female sexual response, as well as sexuality and fertility issues with that particular disability. Part 3 is dedicated to treatment of specific aspects of sexual dysfunction that may occur in individuals with any of the various disabilities or in able-bodied individuals.
