Biographical Note

N. Gary Lane is Professor Emeritus of Palaeontology at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He has published numerous articles and monographs on Palaeozoic crinoids and currently studies crinoids from north-west China.

William T. Ausich is Professor of Geology at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He has also published numerous articles on crinoids and is a co-author of a recent book on fossil crinoids. His current research includes fieldwork on Ordovician crinoids from Anticosti Island, Canada.
