The Experimental Television Center has inaugurated its Video History Project Web site. Since 1994, the Experimental Television Center has maintained a database documenting video art and community television's development in rural and urban New York State and across the U.S. Redesigned by Sherry Miller Hocking, Mona Jimenez and David Jones, the site is interactive and has nine databases containing approximately 2500 records.
By making historical documents and records accessible, the Experimental Television Center allows exploration of earlier arts practices, recognizing their impact on the evolution of contemporary works' current position in culture. Visit the Web site at www.experimentaltvcenter.org/history/
