The Hallmark Museum of Contemporary Photography (HMCP) will open in January 2006 in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. HMCP will be "an exhibition venue for fine photography on loan from some of the most creative and exciting photographers of our day ... as well as housing permanent and loan collections of work executed since 1975," according to Museum Director Paul Turnbull.
Image City Photography Gallery, an independent exhibition space dedicated to photography, opened in Rochester, New York, in September.
