The Photographic Resource Center at Boston University has promoted Terrence Morash to Executive Director. Morash joined the organization as Deputy Director in Fall 2000, and was Acting Executive Director since January 1, 2001. Anthology Film Archives--an independent avant-garde cinema preservation institution in New York City-turned 30 in December 2000.
In March 2001, the Anthology will be premiering films they have already preserved by Charles Boultenhouse, Stan Brakhage and Jim Davis. In May, their Galexy series--films about space, time and astronomy--opens in Paris and in June comes to the Anthology. In July, the Anthology will be opening Unseen Cinema, a series of over 100 films, at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
