Submit proposals: E3 Gallery is currently accepting exhibition proposals for the upcoming calender year beginning Jun. 2002. Proposals should include slides, prints or color copies, a resume and a cover letter stating your name, medium of choice and the season during which you wish to exhibit. Submissions are open to all media (SASE must be included for return of work). The gallery offers one, two or three weeks shows; artists proposing solo exhibitions must submit 10-20 images and groups of artists must include 3-5 images per artist. Submit proposals: Visual Studies Workshop exhibitions department welcomes exhibit proposals for photographic, video and/or multimedia based projects. Seek original, non-documentary projects which demonstrate a sound concept and explore provocative and engaging subject matter. Student work will not be considered. Submit proposals: Visual Studies Workshop is accepting proposals for artists' residencies in photography, artists' books, digital video and multimedia, 8 and 16 mm film and analog video. Residencies are project-based. VSW will provide access to facilities, housing and an honorarium for up to one month ($1000/1 mo.), Feb.-Jun. and Sept.-Nov., 2002. Submit proposals: The Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia is seeking information on national and Georgia artists who deal with issues of race as a major thematic focus of their work. We are interested in works in all media. The research is being done in preparation for an exhibition organized by guest curators Ed Spriggs and Dan Talley, opening in Fall 2002. Submit proposals: To Northern Illinois University Art Museum, which seeks proposals from artists, designers, community associations, schools, business groups and others for the development of their Museum Without Walls Project. The gallery has recently recast itself as a "museum without walls," opening up the entire community as potential exhibition space. Non-gallery visual and interdisciplinary arts projects may include performance, temporary installations, long-term sited works and art events. Submit proposals: To WhiteWalls, A Journal of Language and Art, which is dedicated to the support and presentation of artwork that explores relationships between language, visual art and contemporary culture and whose concepts and forms extend beyond the confines of the traditional gallery wall. Projects should be original, previously unpublished and conceived for the printed page. The presentation and design of works is a collaborative effort between the editors and contributors. Artists' pages, photo-text work, drawings, anagrams, digital imagery, adaptations of installation, performance, film/video work, documentation of site-specific projects and original texts, including essays and criticism, are all possible formats.
