The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston has appointed Toshiaki Koseki to be the Carol Crow Conservator of Photographs, the museum's first position in the conservation department dedicated exclusively to photography. Koseki's endowed position is named by an anonymous friend in honor of the Houston photographer and sculptor Carol Wilson Crow (1915-1997), whose works in the museum collection will come under Koseki's care.
The photography collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is a nationally recognized assemblage of over 20,000 photographs by approximately 3000 artists that encompasses dozens of major collections.
