David Rockefeller pledges $100 million to New York's Museum of Modern Art

David Rockefeller pledges $100 million to New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Rockefeller, who is the chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of the museum, has helped secure its long-term financial stability by giving MoMA its largest-ever donation. The pledge will be used toward the museum's endowment to help further its programmatic mission and intellectual future.

The current value of MoMA's endowment is $475 million.
