RAT Music Stands Ltd. announces the introduction of two new music stand families, the Jazz and Concert Series, and has opened its first office in the United States in Atlanta, with its Opera stands as its flagship line.
The Jazz family of professional folding stands is designed for orchestras, music groups and individual performers. The line offers professional quality stands with the versatility of being highly portable. Jazz stands are fully adjustable in height and have similar stability to a fixed-stand and a full-size music tray with a pencil shelf. They fold in three moves to a flat pack no larger than the size of the tray and are lightweight yet sturdy.
The Concert Series stands offer a choice of a wood or metal tray. The tray is available with an additional padded shelf for pencils. A concert conductor's stand with the same wood tray construction adds to the total wood look. For surroundings with more avant-garde styling, the tray is formed of black nylon coated steel rods, similar to the company's Opera stand. This tray also can be fitted with a sturdy nonmovable pencil shelf.
Concert stands also are fully adjustable in height. A friction lock holds the tray at a set height, and its stem cannot be overextended. Both models offer an optional independently height adjustable instrument shelf. The base of all Concert stands is made of tubular steel for strength and rigidity without excess weight, and a full range of lighting and other accessories have been designed to meet the different needs of music organizations and venues.
The Opera stand also offers diverse lighting and accessory options, including two styles of platforms or trays: nylon-coated welded steel rods or natural birch.
