Thomas Rodgers, winner of the 2003 MTNA Junior High School String Competition, has received numerous accolades since winning the competition.
Two articles in the Anderson [Indiana] Herald Bulletin, were seen by a local state legislator who arranged for Thomas to play on the floor of both houses of the Indiana General Assembly in Indianapolis. Following his performance, Thomas received a standing ovation, and both the House and Senate adopted a concurrent resolution honoring his MTNA win.
