The e-Stand Performer Digital Music Workstation is a state-of-the-art, electronic music stand that eliminates the need for paper sheet music.

Introduced by violinist Itzhak Perlman at the Ravinia Music Festival last summer, the Performer is a patented stand-alone and networkable sheet music management and collaboration system. It utilizes an embedded microcomputer system, including software, conventional RAM and ROM, larger non-volatile storage, communications interfaces, user interfaces and analog-digital support for the audio inputs and outputs. The Performer features a lightweight, high-resolution, page-sized color 15" LCD touch-sensitive screen with an anti-glare overlay. A stylus enables the user to add personal notations or to drag-and-drop printed text on the touch screen. Pages can be turned, forward or backward, at the performer's or conductor's own pace via a foot pedal or by tapping a button below the screen.

The e-Stand Performer was developed in 1992 by guitarist David Sitrick. For more information contact e-Stand, Inc.
