LODGING
Doubletree Hotel: 100 Madison Ave., Missoula, MT 59802; (406) 728-3100 (to reach hotel locally) or (800) 222-8733 (to reach general reservations nationally). Rates: $99 single, $109 double, age 17 and younger stay free with adult. The hotel is newly remodeled and features a complimentary shuttle from airport, and restaurant and is within walking distance of university campus. TO receive this discounted rate, rooms must be reserved by December 17, 2003.
Campus Inn: 744 E. Broadway, Missoula MT 59802; (406) 549-5134. Rates: $47 plus tax for one bed, $50 plus tax for two beds. The hotel is within walking distance of university campus. If prescheduled, there is a complimentary shuttle from the airport. To receive this discounted rate, rooms must be reserved by December 31, 2003.
Creekside Inn: 630 E. Broadway, Missoula, MT 59802; (406) 549-2387. Rates: one person $33.99, two people $39.99. The hotel is within walking distance of university campus. To receive this discounted rate, rooms must be reserved by January 1, 2004.
TRANSPORTATION
Participants arriving by plane, if staying at the Doubletree Hotel, can call for the complimentary shuttle; if staying at the Campus Inn, they request a prescheduling of at least two days prior for their complimentary shuttle. If staying at one of the other accommodations, you can catch the city bus, or rental cars and taxis are available.
If traveling by car, to get to the university, take the Van Buren Street Exit off 1-90 (the first exit from the east and the last exit from the west). Turn right onto Broadway. At the first light, take another right onto Madison. (There is a sign that says it is the street to the university.) Staying in the left lane, go over a bridge and Madison becomes Arthur. Go past one light and take the first left turn onto Connell Avenue. As you travel to the university, you will pass all the hotels listed in the lodging section.
