American Music Teacher, Dec, 2002
Teachers can create song lists and custom music CDs for teaching their pre-K and elementary students by going online to www.playhouseradio.com.
This site offers a large selection of song titles.
Created by Ingrid Harding, a certified K-12 teacher and mom, PlayhouseRadio.com features new songs each week, with more than 500 songs now available.
Once visitors log on, they can listen to entire songs without any purchase or membership requirements. The site uses a simple radio station interface, where users can scan twelve categories, ranging from "educational" and "travel" to "dance" and "sleepy time." All the songs and their full lyrics may then be accessed for free with one simple click.
For more information visit www.playhouseradio.com or contact music@playhouseradio.com.
