American Music Teacher, Dec, 2003

The Keyboard Stamp, developed by Sound Expressions, is a rubber stamp that leaves an imprint of a piano keyboard about 1/2" high by just under 1" wide.

The keyboard teacher or player can stamp this imprint onto any paper or music score, then mark the desired notes or finger positions. The imprint consists of fifteen keys centered around C. It was designed to be large enough to read, yet still fit into the spaces on sheet music or chord charts. Finger positions can be marked for the suggested fingering of the chord.

Sound Expressions also offers a guitar stamp, which draws a guitar neck providing a quick way to write down chords or finger positions. Its 1/2" size usually will fit onto a music score to allow for stamping the fingering onto a piece of sheet music right at the place where it is needed. The larger 1" size also is available in addition to a third stamp designed for four-string instruments such as a uke or bass.
