The 32nd Annual Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition will take place May 6-8, 2005, at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
The competition has senior and junior divisions. Ensembles of three to six players of string, wind or mixed instruments are included.
The Fischoff Competition is the nation's largest chamber music competition. Each year sixty-two ensembles are invited to compete, participate in master classes and perform outreach programs during the three-day event. A total of $22,000 is awarded annually. The Grand Prize Winner is presented with a tour as well as several concerts in the Emilia Romagna Festival in Italy.
The application deadline is March 2, 2005, by 5:00 P.M.
