Three individual $25,000 awards are available to exceptional musicians who apply to the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts' (NFAA) annual Arts Recognition and Talent Search (ARTS) program. The Music for Youth Foundation (MYF), in partnership with NFAA, offers these cash awards each year to outstanding musicians who attend NFAA's all-expense-paid ARTS Week in Miami, Florida.
Applicants must be ages 17 or 18 by December 1, 2002, or a high school senior graduating in 2003. The application deadline is June 1, 2002, and applications will be available online at www.ARTSawards.org in March 2002 or by calling (809) 970-ARTS.
