American Music Teacher, Feb-March, 2003
Local MTA presidents often have questions about MTNA's programs or want to know who to contact at national headquarters for answers to specific questions. Yet many are not certain where to find the answers.
Perhaps the best place to go for answers is the State and Division Presidents Handbook, now available online in a PDF format at www.mma.org/handbook.htm.
> Although much of the information is intended for use by state and division presidents, local association presidents may wish to download the handbook as a resource guide. Divided into several sections, the book can be downloaded in its entirety, or each section can be downloaded separately.Among the information in the handbook is a "where to turn" guide, general liability insurance request forms, the MTNA bylaws and code of ethics, as well as a listing of national headquarters staff and their contact information.
For additional information contact MTNA headquarters at (888) 512-5278.
